5 Days / 4 Nights Srinagar | Sonmarg | Gulmarg | Pahalgam

OVERVIEW :

The valley of Kashmir offers woody abyss which surrounds the steep mountainous terrain. Known around the world for its unparallel landscapes, the valley is located 300kms away from Jammu. Situated in the Himalayas, the clear blue skies reveal the snow capped peaks that birth the streams and rivers. Home to native flora like pine, deodar and chinar, it is a memory of a lifetime to preserve as you glide on a Shikara. Srinagar also acquaints you with the local handicrafts and hand carved wooden furniture made out of walnut tree.

Day: 1 Arrival in Srinagar

Arrive at Srinagar Airport. Transfer to your houseboat or hotel. Relax and acclimatize to the serene surroundings. Enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake (optional). Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day: 2 Srinagar Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Srinagar. Visit Mughal Gardens (Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi). Explore Shankaracharya Temple for panoramic views. Stroll in the local markets and shop for souvenirs. Return to your hotel for the night.

Day: 3 Srinagar to Gulmarg (Approx. 2-3 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg. Check-in at your hotel or resort. Explore the picturesque meadows and take the Gondola ride to the top (at your expense). Enjoy activities like horse riding or simply relish the beautiful landscapes. Overnight stay in Gulmarg.

Day: 4 Gulmarg to Pahalgam (Approx. 2-3 hours)

Morning: After breakfast, start your trek back to Kasol. It's the same 12-kilometer trail, so it will take around 4-5 hours. Afternoon: Stop for lunch on the way. Reach Kasol and check-in to your hotel or guesthouse. Evening: Spend a relaxed evening in Kasol. Dinner at a local café. Overnight stay in Kasol.

Day: 5 Pahalgam to Srinagar Departure

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Pahalgam. Drive back to Srinagar. Depending on your departure schedule, you may have some free time for last-minute shopping or exploration. Transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey.
