2 Days / 1 Nights Nilgiri Hill Station

OVERVIEW :

Nilgiri means the blue mountains. The mountain range consists of 24 peaks that are more than 2000 metres high. Nilgiri is situated at the western part of Tamil Nadu on the junction of Karnataka and Kerala. The peaks are a part of the larger mountain range called Western Ghats.

Day: 1 Chennai - Ooty

Arrive at Ooty from Chennai. Our representatives will escort you to your hotel. Freshen up and begin your tour. Visit Coonoor, Lamb’s Rock, Droog, Lady Canning’s Seat and Dolphin’s Nose Viewpoint. Do shopping at local markets and return back to your hotel room at night.

Day: 2 Sightseeing of Ooty

After breakfast, proceed to view Doddabetta peak, which is the highest 2623 m high peak in the Nilgiri Hills. Visit Botanical Gardens, Law’s Falls, Wenlock Downs, Valley View Lake and Wilson Fish Farm. Botanical Gardens have a fossil tree trunk which is 20 million years old. Admire the beauty of picturesque Ooty. Capture some memorable photos and return back to your hotel accommodation at night. Have dinner and depart for your home town early morning with sweet memories of the Nilgiri and Ooty.
